I was excited to receive the product only to realize that some of the keys on the keyboard wouldn't work. I would press "J", for example, and nothing would happen. Also, some of the numbers on the number pad doesnt work either. I tried connecting an external keyboard to ensure that it was a hardware issue. The external keyboard worked fine.
I am waiting on the new one, hoping that it was a one-off situation.
Update:
Got the replacement and it works fine.
Update (18th Jan 2012):
The replacement LCD does work anymore! I have to return it.

Ultimately Satisfied with my purchase. The price is good, screen is big and clear and its light weight. My only complaints are the screen is very shiny and reflects light which can cause a glare and the volume isn't as loud as I would like it to be.

I received this laptop on a late tuesday evening, pulled it out of the box turned it on and set it up, and let it do all of its updates over night as I was sleeping. I woke up the next morning to the blue screen of death and the laptop restarting and every time coming up with error messages and blue screens of death. After calling the acer customer service and walking through their steps to solve this issue, they told me they couldn't fix it with this approach and that they would need to send me the recovery disks. A week later I received the recovery disks and followed the instructions that were included with the disks and nothing had changed.
I called Amazon and the process for return was easy. I appreciate the great customer service and the ease of return, I wish I received a working computer, but am glad that amazon's customer service is as good as it is.
